1. Make paper bags for your neighbourhood Kirana stores

3. Convert bottles and vessels into pots and develop green spaces

Our Project 'Sanjeevani- clinic on wheels'🚚 in partnership with Bhavishya Bharat, initiated some of the awareness activities for the people of South Sikkim before #GOI announced #lockdown:
🔹Awareness Poster displayed at all the prominent places of the district;
🔹Awareness drive among the community through Social media, mass SMS and WhatsApp group;
🔹Setup a dedicated Helpline Number for the community;
🔹Regular Sanitisation of our Mobile Medical Units.
On World Water Day, let's pledge to save water, as during the outbreaks of the infectious disease like COVID-19, clean water is vital for human health.
Under SBI Gram Seva Program, we have been able to rejuvenate ponds, clean & repair wells, contour trenches and installed water purifiers, handpumps and rainwater harvesting tanks for the village residents in 50 adopted villages of 6 States of India.
SBI Foundation celebrated International Women's Day by felicitating Successful Women from villages and conducted an awareness session on Small Scale Businesses, SHG Strengthening, Women Health and Rights etc. on 8th March 2020 in all the villages adopted under SBI Gram Seva Program.

On the landmark occasion of the NIBM’s Golden Jubilee celebration, the leading banks of the country showcased their contribution in areas of Financial Inclusion, Digital Payments, Corporate Social Responsibility and Women Empowerment/Gender Equality.

Centre of Excellence for PwDs is conducting five days of inclusive training on MS office packages over JAWS for UCO Bank employees with visual impairment at Central Staff College, Kolkata from 09/12/2019 to 13/12/2019. Both the Executive Directors of UCO Bank, Shri Ajay Vyas and Shri Charan Singh addressed the inaugural session today.
A review meeting of SBI Gram Seva Program was held on 22/11/2019 at SBI Foundation, Corporate Centre, Mumbai to understand the implementation progress and impact achieved by our NGO partners. The agenda of the meeting was to discuss steps to further enhance the impact and strategize measures for sustainability of the program through community participation.
