The vast majority of the rural population is deprived of basic medical facilities due to lack of healthcare infrastructure in these parts of the country. For the underprivileged section of the society, health is one of the most critical aspects. In case of severe illness, the family often gets into a debt spiral which destroys the financial stability and it affects other aspects like nutrition, shelter, education etc. SBI Foundation is committed to contributing positively to United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Goal 3: Good Health and Well Being by bringing about positive changes in the lives of underprivileged sections of society by providing free access to quality healthcare.
