On the occasion of World Braille Day January 4th 2022, The Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disabilities showcased the latest technological development in the field of braille literacy, in association with the Thinker Bell Labs, Bangalore, by conducting a workshop- displaying their braille self-learning device “ANNIE”, at National Association for the Blind, Mumbai.
7th December 2021: SBI Foundation’s Flagship Program Centre of Excellence for Persons with Disabilities hosted an awe-inspiring cultural evening to honour the International Day of Persons with Disabilities at the State Bank Bhavan Auditorium. The phenomenal Udaan Entertainment Group that consisted of talented artists from across the country performed the event LIVE on our Youtube Channel.
29th November 2021: On the occasion of National Organ Donation Day, Project ‘Gift Hope, Gift Life” was inaugurated by the Chairman of State Bank of India, Shri. Dinesh Kumar Khara. He emphasized the need to encourage conversations about organ donation in society and wholeheartedly appreciated MOHAN Foundation’s efforts in creating awareness about organ donation in India.
26th November 2021: SBI Foundation and SBI DFHI recently partnered with Tata Memorial Centre to implement Project NAT (Nucleic-Acid Amplification Test). The project was inaugurated by honorable Shri. Dinesh Khara, Chairman, SBI at Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai.
Transforming schools in Rural Ladakh, an ambitious initiative by SBI Foundation and 17000ft Foundation includes the DigiLab - a unique program that enables children to access Digital Learning in rural areas of Ladakh.
